Dave Speerbrecker is the General Manager of Training and Workforce Development with Thyssen Mining and brings more than 35 years of mining experience. Over his career with Thyssen Mining, he has worked in underground operations, safety leadership, and senior roles, gaining first-hand experience with the challenges & opportunities contractors face working across multiple jurisdictions and client sites. Today, he leads workforce development initiatives focused on training, leadership, and organizational capability, with a strong belief that safety is achieved through shared accountability and capable people.
