Hamed is a Director with KPMG's Major Projects Advisory team within the firm's Infrastructure, Capital Projects and Sustainability practice. He has more than 16 years of experience advising and delivering major capital projects across the mining, utilities, energy and marine sectors, supporting owners, EPCMs, contractors and public sector organizations from project definition through execution and operations.
Leveraging experience gained across major capital projects, Hamed helps clients improve capital project performance through delivery model selection, commercial strategy, governance, project controls, execution planning, operational readiness and digital enablement. His experience spans business case development, feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and performance improvement for capital programs valued from hundreds of millions to more than $8B.
Hamed’s industry background includes progressive leadership roles delivering complex capital projects for organizations including BC Hydro, Glencore Elk Valley Resources, Fluor, Teck Resources, Seaspan, Worley, Lundin Mining (Vicuña) and Eldorado Gold.
