Biography

Lourdes is a world-class, results-oriented Process Engineer with combined business knowledge and proven experience in end-to-end project lifecycle for more than 22 years. This includes DEVELOPMENT (test work, studies), PROJECTS (engineering & design (EPC / EPCM), start-up, ramp-up), OPERATIONS (production operation, debottlenecking, decommissioning), BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT (process optimisation, capability development, strategy-making, cost evaluation) of small and large integrated complex processing plants (mine-to-metal) and ancillaries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Australia and South & North America and Europe. She has strong technical knowledge backed with demonstrated practical and leadership experience gained from various roles and global expo- sure throughout her career. Her significant exposure to operations, design and corporate responsibilities provided her a wide network of peers and enriched business knowledge. She has good oral and written communication skills. She had co-authored and presented a number of conference papers including experience in engagement and presentation to senior management and leadership team. Lourdes is a technical expert in critical minerals project development and operations. This includes battery chemicals (NiSO4 and CoSO4), nickel, copper, rare earths, scandium, uranium and lithium brine.
