Biography

Alex Azparrent is an experienced professional with over 20 years of supply chain experience, at Fluor since 2007. He relocated to Santiago, Chile in 2018 to focus on Mining & Metals projects in the region. In 2021 he was appointed as the Global Director of Supply Chain for Mining & Metals at Fluor. Alex has been involved in projects executed in the United States, Middle East, Mexico, Egypt, Algeria, West Africa, and throughout South America. He has spent a good part of his career in the field, where he was able to get a full perspective of the importance of supply chain in the successful execution of projects. He brings a wealth of experience in the project sector, having worked in various business lines throughout his career, with key focus in Mining & Metals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, from Iowa State University. He is also a Global Executive MBA graduate from TRIUM (2015) a three-university program – NYU Stern, London School of Economics, and HEC Paris.
