He gained his Masters degree from Laurentian University in Chemistry in 1986 and has applied it well in understanding the major processes in mineral extraction. His career spans time at INCO, Equity Silver, Lakefield Research, Charles Tennant, Newmont, Nystar, Ashland, Solenis, Lundin, and years privately consulting.
