Mike Derbawka is the HSE Director at DIAS Geophysical, where he leads global health, safety, and environmental operations and establishes the company's strategic HSE vision across all business activities. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and is a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE).
With over 15 years of progressive HSE leadership, Mike brings comprehensive experience across the exploration, mining, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing industries. His career includes key roles with the Government of Canada, Bunge, Procon Industrial, Boart Longyear, Team Drilling, PCL, Stantec Consulting, and the City of Saskatoon, where he consistently drove safety culture transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.
Michael holds an OHS Advanced Diploma and an OHS Practitioner Certificate from the University of New Brunswick.
