Biography

Morgan Schauerte has 18 years of professional experience. He is a senior environmental engineer with experience across the Canada predominantly in the mining industry. His career focus has been on the environmental components of mine development, assessment and closure, including permitting compliance. Morgan has a keen understand of how the interactions between mine design and operation are key components of permit compliance and project de-risking. His technical background in chemistry, hydrogeology and water transport are a key part of his project management approach, coupling the technical with an understanding of the practicalities of site operation backed by on-site experience. His career started in environmental site assessment, and has since included permitting, environmental assessment, monitoring compliance and large scale remedial design, costing and management for mines, contaminated sites and construction projects.
