Biography
I'm Ali Elashery. Currently, I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC), where my work centers around the hot deformation behaviour of 6xxx aluminum alloys. My Ph.D. research delved into how Zr addition impacts the hot deformation and recrystallization processes of these extruded alloys. This focus has resulted in four journal publications and a significant conference paper at COM21, where it was awarded the first prize for the Materials student paper. Outside of my postdoctoral research, I also hold a position as an Assistant Professor at Cairo University and participate as a member of the Engineering Intern (EIT) program.
