Biography
Véronique is a mining engineer over 30 years experience in mining geomechanics. She has held various roles in mining operations, consulting and academia. Prior to joining Agnico Eagle she was a Principal at Golder Associates and Team Leader Mining Technologies at Noranda Technology Centre. In her current role, Véronique provides technical support to Agnico Eagle’s northern and southern business units and geotechnical guidance on the development of new projects. Her experience includes the preparation of conceptual and feasibility studies, optimisation of operating mine plans, analysis and numerical modelling of mining sequences, ground support testing and geotechnical site investigations.
