Graduated in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002), Master (2005) and Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from UFRGS (2008). He was a Process Engineer between 2007 and 2011 at Bunge Fertilizantes and Vale Fertilizantes in Araxá (MG), and at Vale's Mineral Development Center (CDM) in Santa Luzia (MG) between 2011 and 2013. He is currently an Associate Researcher at the Centro de Tecnologia Mineral (CETEM), an agency linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). He has experience in Mining Engineering, with an emphasis on Concentration and Enrichment Methods of Ores and treatment of liquid effluents by flotation, acting on the following topics: fine and ultrafine flotation, copper, molybdenum, lead and zinc sulfide flotation ; column flotation; processing of phosphate, niobium, rare-earths and iron ore.
