Leo is a seasoned leader in the global engineering and construction industry, with over 27 years of experience driving growth, strategy, and project execution across the mining and metals sector. As Vice President & General Manager for Mining & Metals, North America at Fluor Corporation, Leo oversees operations, project delivery, and strategic initiatives across the region, serving major clients such as Freeport-McMoRan, Teck, Lundin, BHP, Newmont, Eldorado, and Barrick. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Leo leads Fluor’s project delivery for North America-based clients with global operations. His deep industry expertise and client-centric approach have contributed to the successful execution of complex, large-scale projects worldwide. Prior to his current role, Leo served as Vice President and Head of Global Business Development & Strategy for Fluor’s Mining & Metals business, where he was responsible for global sales and strategic direction. He also previously led regional sales across North and South America and the Global Metals & Fertilizer sectors.
