Simon Sun is the Lead Structural Engineer at G.L. Tiley & Associates Ltd., based in Hamilton, Ontario. With over a decade of experience, he specializes in the structural design, analysis, and inspection of mine hoisting systems across North and South America, including nuclear-related projects. Simon combines extensive analytical expertise with hands-on field experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Earthquake Structural Engineering from McMaster University, where he also served as a teaching and research assistant.
