Biography

Soheil Kheirparast is a mining engineer by background and a consultant with a focus on stochastic mine planning and optimization. He has contributed to various projects involving the integration of geological uncertainty into long-term planning, applying stochastic optimization, geostatistical simulations, machine learning, and data analytics to support more resilient and informed decision-making in strategic mine planning. His academic background includes research on geostatistical simulations and mine planning under uncertainty, with a particular emphasis on the role of uncertainty in shaping production strategies and project value. Soheil holds a MASc and BSc in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University and Amirkabir University of Technology, respectively.
