Biography
I hold a BSc in Physics from Azad University, an MSc in Condensed Matter Physics from Guilan University, and a PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from McGill University, which I completed in 2018. My PhD research focused on the combustion synthesis of metal powders, a CO2-free method that advances material production for 3D metal printing. During my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of New Brunswick, I specialized in numerical modeling of microstructure evolution and solidification in Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) processes. In my current role at CanmetMATERIALS, I conduct research on materials and energy applications, with a focus on developing automated processes and utilizing AI for optimizing material properties.
