Biography

Since 2019, Torben is heading the department of "New Technologies" within Aurubis R&D. In 2002, he has joined Aurubis. After starting in R&D department as process engineer, he became a smelter superintendent soon. In the following years, he successively led the concentrate blending, flash smelting, slag cleaning, anode casting, and finally the total primary smelter at Hamburg.
