My name is Rabie Diab and I have a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Since October 2022, I have been employed as a research engineer at at CanmetMINING (part of Natural Resources Canada). Long story short, I'm working on a carbon capture project where the objective is to design a flowsheet that utilizes tailings or waste rock of ultramafic ores to permanently mineralize carbon dioxide.
Prior to that, I worked at SGS Canada in Lakefield for 4 years where the bulk of my work revolved around gold extraction.
My hobbies include sports, bartending, and being around loved ones.
