Biography

Wayne Johnstone is the Mining Regional Sales Manager at Victaulic, based in Sudbury, Ontario. Over his 12 years with the company he has moved from territory sales into a specialized role supporting mining engineers and owners on process water and backfill systems, and works with Victaulic representatives globally on both disciplines. He has served as Victaulic’s Canadian trainer for paste backfill and is a co-author of two peer-reviewed papers on automated backfill reticulation, including the Fosterville Gold Mine case study presented at Minefill 2024.
