Biography

Paul is an experienced mining-industry executive with over 30 years in global miners such as KGHM, Barrick Gold and Placer Dome. The majority of this experience is in Asset Management in both underground and open pit operations. He has been a consultant to the mining industry for the last 12 years delivering improvements in maintenance and operations as well schedule assurance for CAPEX projects in mining. Specific Maintenance experience includes: - Corporate Manager of Asset Management for KGHM International based in Toronto - Regional Manager Global Maintenance for Barrick Gold based in Santiago, Chile - Manager of Mining for Finning in Chile where he was responsible for ten MARC contracts with 800 people in the field - Site Maintenance Manager for Placer Dome at Detour Lake and Campbell mines in Ontario, Zaldivar Mine in Chile, where he was responsible for all mine, plant and facilities maintenance functions. - Director of Truck Maintenance at Suncor, Millennium mine, where the fleet consisted of 129 heavy haulers. Complementing the above, Paul was also the Vice President of Human Resources for Finning South America for four years where he oversaw all HR functions, training and safety in an organization of over 3,000 people.
