Suncor
Tina joined Suncor in 2019, bringing with her 25 years of experience in the global mining industry. She serves as the Vice President of Mine Services, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Oilsands. In her role, Tina is responsible for planning the life cycle of mining operations in the regional oilsands assets. She oversees geotechnical engineering, regional and closure planning, and supports ongoing improvement initiatives for the operational assets. Before her time at Suncor, Tina worked at BHP, holding several positions across their metallurgical coal and diamond mine operations, iron ore, copper and potash businesses, and coal marketing in Singapore. Tina earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from the University of British Columbia and holds an MBA from Athabasca University.
