Biography

Laura Carelos Andrade is a Mine Planning Consultant at KPI Mining Solutions. She holds a B.Eng. in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a M.Sc. in Stochastic Mine Planning and Orebody Modeling from McGill University. Laura specializes in developing stochastic optimization frameworks for open-pit and underground mine planning, as well as in advanced geostatistical modeling. Her technical expertise enables her to lead consulting projects, deliver training initiatives, and support clients in adopting KPI’s innovative mine planning solutions.
