Biography
Timo is an environmental geoscientist with 13 years of experience in mine- and construction-site related geochemistry in a variety of geological, climatic and regulatory settings. Timo has applied his geochemical and mineralogical expertise to assess ML/ARD risk from early planning stages to project closure and reclamation. The primary focus of his work is the design and interpretation of static and kinetic geochemical test programs as well as the development of geochemical source term models, using geochemical speciation codes as needed, to inform best practice ML/ARD and water management decisions.
