Biography

Glynis, a founder of Stantec’s North America Funding Program, bridges the gap between project planning and implementation by securing funding for clients across various sectors. With a Queen’s MBA and as a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants (FCMC), she specializes in development finance for private and public organizations. Her dynamic career began in banking and transitioned to consulting and executive leadership, where she held roles overseeing $5 million operating budgets and managing assets exceeding $20 million. Glynis has significantly impacted sectors like arts, education, industry, and urban development, leveraging her comprehensive experience to deliver strategic solutions. She is also actively involved in the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) community and champions gender parity. Glynis enjoys the arts through painting, stitching, and performing music as a flautist and singer; however, not all at the same time!
