Biography

Extensive experience in Assurance and Advisory Services, including risk and compliance, internal audit, compliance, governance, organizational and people change, project management, and sustainability. Led the global ERM program of some major Canadian mining companies, supporting the corporate strategic planning process by identifying, assessing and documenting global strategy formulation and execution risks, monitoring alignment with the organization’s risk appetite and tracking the progress of the stated initiatives. Coordinated with the business to ensure continuous focus on the development and improvement of the ESG related processes designed to enhance the internal and external sustainability performance. Provided expertise, leadership and oversight in implementing the future-state vision of the Internal Audit function and operationalizing internal audit processes, practices, and methodologies.
