Biography

Geological Engineer graduate from the University of Waterloo. I have more than 34 years of experience with mining projects, waste management, and site remediation. Mining related experience includes environmental baseline studies, feasibility studies, project permitting and approvals, and consultation support. Study experience includes surface water and hydrology programs, hydrogeology assessments, geochemistry studies, air and noise data collection, and management of specialist sub-consultants focused on species at risk, archaeology, aquatics and terrestrial investigations. Permitting and approvals experience includes various water related permits, closure planning and EA/EIS development. Over the past decade I have worked for Indigenous Communities providing guidance and advice on mining projects reviews within their Traditional Territories. I am currently active on four environmental committees that are setup with Indigenous Communities and mines in Ontario.
