Presentation Title:
Why Settle? Join The New Era of Mining Safety & Efficiency!

Abstract:

In the quest to improve safety, decrease mining cycle time, reduce waste, and extend active shift lengths, the integration of modern technologies with process improvement is paramount. Traditionally, Operational Excellence Consultants emphasize perfecting process flow and cultivating good habits before introducing technology. However, this panel proposes a synergistic approach: leveraging the best of both technology and process improvement simultaneously.

This panel discussion will feature representatives from leading mining companies who have evaluated a varety of cutting-edge technologies, including 5G. They will share insights on how these technologies, combined with robust operational excellence practices, can revolutionize mining operations. Key topics will include:

Optimizing Mining Cycle Time: Strategies to streamline operations and reduce cycle times using advanced technologies and process improvements.
Reducing Waste: Innovative approaches to minimize waste throughout the mining cycle, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
Extending Active Shift Lengths: Techniques to maximize productive hours in each shift, leveraging technology to support extended operations.
Improve Profitability: Leverage cutting-edge technologies and process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs, driving significant gains in profitability and ensuring a rapid payback period.
Get Your Team Leading the Change: Empower your team with the skills and tools needed to lead transformative change, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your organization.

By exploring the intersection of operational excellence, software solutions, 5G connectivity, and new mining technologies, this panel aims to provide actionable insights and practical solutions for achieving superior performance in mining operations. Join us to discover how a holistic approach to technology and process improvement can drive significant gains in efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
