Biography
Since 2020 I work as a research associate in our Pyrometallurgy division at the Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy (INEMET) of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. I am doing my PhD on the topic of "Carbothermic reduction of fayalitic Cu-slags for pig-iron and glass phase production", focusing on slag valorisation processes, alternative reduction agents and zero-waste processes. I also work on an array of neighbouring fields such as pyrometallurgical Nd-recovery, Cr and Ni recovery from EAF-dusts and research into TSL-technology as well as computational modelling.
