Biography

My name is Xavier THEVENOT. I am a biologist with an M.Sc. in Biological Diversity and Bio-Resource Technology, which I obtained in Marseilles, France. Before starting my PhD, I worked on the design and implementation of plant-based treatment systems (phyto-purification) for wastewater treatment sites in the industrial, agricultural and domestic sectors. I also have 2 years of experience in the monitoring of the quality of French rivers, using benthic macro-invertebrates and micro-organisms as bio-indicators of environmental quality sensitive to pollution. Today, in parallel with my Ph.D., I am working at the Unité de Recherche et de Services en Technologie Minérales.
