Abstract
Mudwizard developped and operated mud system in many underground mine in Canada. For example Agnico-Eagle has a mud system in every mine in operation under their flag. Also, recently the drilling operation in sensible environment and on the minesite started to be involve in the movement to reuse water and control the effluent.
The propose presentation will share and develop on the following topics;
- Why the mud management is essential and have an global impact for humanity;
- The evolution of mining needs since the last 10 years based on our experiences;
- Reuse of water, energy and maintenance saving cost;
- Social and environmental responsabilities topics for the community and the operation;
- What the mining operators on the field expect and how they are aware of this reality;
- Use of polymers anionic and cationic and the coagulation flocculation combinaison;
- Difficulties to integrate a mud system and how the collaboration is so important for the success of this implantation;
