Abstract
This talk presents the different stages of data fusion and highlights their usefulness in terms of operations management in an underground mining context. Starting from the pre-digitalized era when staying at the surface meant having no visibility on the underground operations, we will make our way through the various steps of data collection, aggregation and standardization as well as their applications and real life impact before concluding with a brief overview of next generation data sources and use cases.
