Abstract
In recent years, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) updated their reporting regulations for public mining companies registered under a securities act or an exchange act and required to report their mineral resources and reserves as indicated below given the filed forms.

The technical report summary exhibit is required to comply with the regulations stated in the S-K Subpart §229.1300 to S-K §229.1305 section of Title 17, Chapter II, Part 229.
This presentation will focus on summary observations and reporting statistics that follow the implementation of these rules from its inception to the current date, capturing the 3 years of notice and explanation and the initial 2 years of filing. The filing mistakes and challenges being experienced by public companies reporting mineral properties that are reported as part of the public discourse will be discussed along with available data on trends, omissions, financial and legal consequences, and estimated preparation requirements. The data will provide registrants and other interested parties with some insight into the process required by every public company reporting mineral resources under the regulations.
