Abstract
Mining companies has strong commitments towards net-zero emissions in a considerably short time frame. Mine haul fleet electrification is one of the most effective and realistic ways to reduce CO2 emissions and help the mining industry reach its sustainability targets.
A new technology milestone brings the mining industry a step closer to the all-electric mine of the future, with sustainable, productive operations and improved working conditions. Boliden, Epiroc and ABB successfully deploying the first fully battery-electric trolley truck system on an 800-meter-long underground mine test track in Sweden.
ABB will describe the system components, the features and design criteria, which are taken into consideration and will discuss the learning and execution issues based on the experience. Further to this the evolution from diesel-assisted (hybrid) to fully battery-electric trolley truck assisted systems and how does Trolley system play a key role in the journey to full-electric hauling will be described during the presentation.

ABB will share insights on the importance of integrating the dynamic charging process as an essential step in the haul-cycle and therefore the importance of a Mine Operations Management System, which plans and schedules the charging events meeting and optimizing the production goals based on the constraints, power availability, mine plan & operational targets and asset.
