Abstract
This presentation highlights MFQ's latest high-purity Direct Reduction (DR) concentrate project, positioning the company as a key player in reducing global CO₂ emissions in downstream steelmaking. The project underscores MFQ’s capability to deliver cleaner, higher-purity feedstock for green steel production.
An overview of the OCP2 circuit's construction will be provided, focusing on ongoing value engineering initiatives designed to support sustainability goals. Additionally, MFQ’s efforts to investigate and optimize flotation reagent schemes will be discussed. These initiatives aim to improve iron unit recovery and enhance environmental compatibility, reflecting MFQ’s commitment to advancing both efficiency and sustainability. This discussion emphasizes the importance of maintaining research momentum to drive continuous progress toward operational and environmental objectives.
This journey illustrates how MFQ’s dedication to innovation and accountability at every level—large and small—has fostered a culture of sustainability. The case study presents an honest and detailed account of these efforts and challenges, demonstrating MFQ's role in shaping a greener future for the steelmaking value chain.
