Pierre Julien, , Ontario - Pierre is a seasoned mining industry executive with over 30 years of experience in the global mining industry. Pierre has held a number of technical and executive roles within the mining industry. Pierre is currently an Executive Vice President with DRA Global and President of DRA Americas. DRA Americas provides fully out sourced O&M services to 18 processing facilities in North America and is a leading provider of engineering services covering geology, mining and mineral processing. Pierre is also the founder of Lincoln Strategic and ORE+PROS, two mining industry services providers. Pierre was also a founding director of Tembo Gold. Prior to forming Lincoln Strategic, he was the President and CEO of Norcast Castings Inc (owned by Pala private equity, now Bradken), a global supplier wear solutions to the mining industry. Prior to joining Norcast Pierre was with Outotec where he held a number of positions including President, Outotec North America, and General Manager, Outotec Canada where he managed all aspects of the sales and delivery of mineral processing technology. Pierre is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines (1984) and holds an MBA from the Queens School of Business (1999). Pierre is the Incoming Président of the Canadian Institute of Mines, Past Chairman for the Canadian Mineral Processors Society and is a recipient of the CIM Fellowship award.
