Ms. Katie Burau has almost 20 years of experience in business administration, project services, and project delivery. Her strong analytical and detail-oriented background includes construction management services, crew management, proposal coordination, change management, project management assistance, contract management, and project engineering management. With her strong command of the English language, propensity for process improvement, and exemplary communication skills, she has been instrumental in the creation of process workflows and procedures. As Manager of Project Execution for Stantec's Candian Mining, Minerals and Metals group. Katie provides leadership to project teams and is responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and resources for work packages and projects.
Ms. Burau is also active in the communities she works and lives in. In addition to regular volunteer activities, she has served on the board for NAMI Valley of the Sun, was the WISE Sudbury Science and Engineering Olympics for 2 years, recently served on the WIM Sudbury and CIM Sudbury boards, and is the Governance Lead on CIM's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (DIAC) and is an active member of WISE Sudbury, CIM Sudbury, and Sudbury's WIM branch.
