Biography

Pegah Khosravi Nia is an Energy and Decarbonization Engineer at B2Gold Corp., where she leads and supports initiatives focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, and advancing sustainable mining practices across multiple global operations. Her work includes evaluating and support implementing innovative solutions while developing business cases that integrate technical, financial, and environmental performance. Pegah holds a Master of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia, where her research focused on transitioning heating energy systems from fossil fuels to biomass-based solutions. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from university of Tehran and has experience in data analysis and process optimization.
