Finning International
Jarod Joseph is a 2020 graduate of the University of Alberta mining engineering program, registered with APEGA as an Engineer in Training. With several years experience in coal and oil sands operations, he is presently providing technology solutions with Finning International to the mining industry, including fleet management (MineStar Fleet and MineStar Edge), high precision gps guidance for grading, drilling and loading applications (MineStar Terrain) and autonomous haulage (MineStar Command for Hauling). During the course of the project outlined in this paper and presentation, he was the lead contact for Prairie Mines and Royalty at the former Highvale Mining operation, interfacing between engineering, the blast crew and JPI mine equipment & engineering, who developed the reclamation cast blast design.
