In his 35 year career at Caterpillar, Jim led various parts of that organization in the functional areas of Engineering, New Product Development, Sales&Marketing, Dealer Administration, Product Management, and most recently as the General Manager of the MineStar technology business. In that role, Jim was responsible for the development, sales, implementation, operation and support of technologies developed for the Mining industry to aid customers in enhancing their safety while increasing their productivity and efficiency. Notably, he led the organization to develop and commercialize autonomy for mobile equipment, creating unparalleled customer value, a strong leadership position for Caterpillar in this transformational technology. Jim joined Railveyor in the latter part of 2021 as a seasoned global executive who has a proven record of a strong focus on customers. His focus is on helping a the proven Railveyor team deliver strong and broad success for its customers. Jim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and completed a Caterpillar sponsored Executive Leadership program at Stanford University. He has lived and worked around the world.
