Biography

Matt is the Head of Decarbonization and Energy Transition for Norda Stelo where he sits at the intersection of strategy and implementation to accelerate impact. He supports heavy industry, climate technologies, and battery supply chain actors in getting to net zero faster while maximizing their ESG performance and enabling the energy transition. He guides net zero and renewable energy strategies, GHG technology investment decisions, clean technology development and deployment, asset performance optimization through Stelar, and ESG performance evaluation. Prior to Norda, Matt was Vice President New Energy Technologies at Exergy Solutions, Director of the GHG Priority Area at Canada's Oil Sands Innovation Alliance, and lead the consulting arm of the Pembina Institute. He is the outgoing chair of the Academy for Sustainable Innovation and active board chair of Foresight Clean Technology Accelerator.
