Dan Stern serves as Senior Product Manager at MacLean Engineering, an Ontario based global manufacturer of mobile mining equipment for the underground and surface mining industries. Dan is currently in his 18th year of service at MacLean having started fresh out of university as an intern, transitioning to Marketing, Global Sales, and Product Management throughout his career. In his role as Product Manager, Dan is responsible for overseeing product strategy, development, and launch for the company’s surface mining equipment portfolio—especially MacLean’s growing electric-vehicle (EV) offerings. Dan’s mission is to make electrification practical and profitable for the global mining industry by guiding MacLean’s product portfolio toward clean-energy solutions and automation.
