Biography

Nermine is Manager of New Energy Technologies at Exergy Solutions where she helps lead a corporate technology strategy group and advances low carbon technologies through the combination of agile engineering, additive manufacturing and process pilots as part of industry’s transition to a low carbon economy. Nermine is a mechanical engineer by background with experience within a broad range of challenging industrial applications and energy systems. With a focus on the extractive and power sectors, Nermine delivers strategic support to technology development and deployment in the energy transition​. She has consistently applied insightful analysis and thought leadership to assist clients within industry, governments, and the investment community identify and action opportunities for sustainable growth in a low carbon economy. Having pursued a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Development followed by extensive consulting experience, Nermine brings expertise in tackling ESG challenges. At Exergy, she is guiding the execution of several interdisciplinary advisory projects aimed at finding optimal solution pathways for supporting decarbonization objectives.
