Abstract
Hydrometallurgical processes play a critical role in the recovery of precious metals, including palladium, from both primary and secondary resources. Among various recovery techniques, the Merrill–Crowe process and cementation have been widely applied for metal recovery from leach solutions due to their simplicity and effectiveness. In this study, palladium recovery from waste pre-plated frames was investigated using the Merrill–Crowe process and cementation, focusing on their applicability, recovery efficiency, and potential for selective palladium extraction.
