Abstract
The presentation will discuss the fast track delivery of Kamoa-Kakula Project phase 1 to phase 3 and how a structured approach to operational readiness contributes to the success of a world class mining project. Operational Readiness (OR) is not just a preparatory phase, it's the critical bridge connecting construction to production, serving as a key risk management strategy that ensures a smooth transition from engineering and design to production ramp-up and steady-state operations. Combining technical expertise with hands-on field experience via Specialised Work and Training (SWAT) teams, supports the client in ensuring efficient and successful project commissioning and production ramp-up.
