Abstract
This presentation will give an overview of the project at US Steel's Keetac facility to upgrade the current Blast Furnace Grade pellet production process to have the ability to make DR Grade pellets. Keetac, located on the Iron Range in Minnesota, has been producing pellets to feed the North American blast furnace operations since 1967. This project will give US Steel the flexibility to supply a range of pellet quality from Keetac to support the expanding Electric Arc Furnace steel making process and continue to progress the company's Best for All® strategy.
