Abstract
There is no magic or unique recipe for integrating technologies in mining companies. Some companies have a history of tools and technological solutions that must be considered when integrating new solutions. The evolution must be done systematically so as not to interrupt the level of service provided. Companies also encourage innovation. In other companies, some new resources that enter the market are technologically comfortable and develop certain tools themselves that sometimes generate great value. The support for these tools must then be integrated into the existing application governance. Some other companies have detailed plans that cascade at all levels, while others opt for a more agile approach.
This panel will explore the challenges and strategies mining companies face when integrating new technologies, from AI to decarbonization tools, while maintaining operational efficiency and sustainability. Panelists will share real-world insights, successes, and lessons learned to inspire innovation and collaboration in the industry.
