Abstract
Spiral concentrators are currently used for iron ores, but can it be used to concentrate other ores ? What is the effect of operational conditions like pitch, slope, number of turns and use of wash water on mineral recovery ? This presentation is an introduction of a master's project which will study the feasibility of concentrating different ores and will compare results between a WW6 and VHG spirals.
