Description
The presentation will explore the evolution of our proactive Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) Prevention Program, "SIF in the Routine."
This initiative involves team members from various departments visiting job sites to identify potential hidden SIF exposures and gaps in routine tasks. Initially focusing on basic routine work, the program has matured to assess more complex tasks and is focused on work as completed vs work as planned. The sharing of these SIF assessments across our network has driven significant improvements and real change across our potash sites.
We will discuss the evolution of the program, lessons we have learned, and some of the significant findings. Aligned with the spirit of the program, we're modernizing the approach to include Human Organization Performance (HOP) acknowledging the normalcy of mistakes with emphasis on recoverability from those mistakes.
