Abstract
Evolving geopolitical dynamics have heightened the importance of robust public-private partnerships, particularly within the mining supply chain. While support from export credit agencies is well-established, it is now adapting to meet emerging challenges. Strategic collaboration can help mitigate known risks associated with project development. Moreover, given the complexity and scale of these initiatives, effective coordination among private-sector stakeholders is essential to ensure successful project execution. This session will explain the role of export credit agencies in mine development, using EDC as an example, and explain our role in risk mitigation through a financing process.
